Latvia is situated on the coast of Baltic Sea with around 2 million people. The cities capital Riga, a world heritage site is full of life and is a must-see. There are also many other great places to see, both urban and rural with 500 km's of coastline and forests which cover approximately a half of Latvia's territory. It's more authentic than the overrun tourist hubs further afield. So consider a trip here rather than the usual suspects of Europe.
